At least at updating this blog, and I apologize for that. I know a lot of you sit long hours in front of your computer screens eagerly awaiting another update, and when it doesn’t come it just ruins your whole week. Typhoons are a good time to make blog posts.
Well since we are experiencing a typhoon in Japan right now, and my morning class is canceled (thankfully!), so I don’t have to leave until noon now… I thought it would be a good time to make a blog post!
Last night was pretty intense I woke up at like 3am to torrential rain and thunder and lighting and this morning it was still blowing crazy and raining so some of the train lines...

Feeling restless
So, I am doing much better today. I think I’ve pretty much recovered but I am still taking it easy and taking the medicine that the Doctor gave me. I have been so bored today! Rie-san came to see me this morning and told me it would be better for me to stay here for the day since tomorrow we move, and we have to make sure I’m healthy before I meet my host family.

I spent my last day in Michigan today with family and getting some last minute things together. Packing has proven to be more of a challenge than I thought it would be. It’s hard to chose what to take and what not to take when I know I will be gone for so long. I also have to think about the different types of weather and how to prepare myself for that.
